Where Credit is Due...
The following folks contributed much to Sarah-land. Not all know they helped me, but the least I can do is thank them:
- Eric Meyer created the wonderful Introduction to HTML and Intermediate HTML tutorials, which certainly helped me improve these web pages.
- John Cocula of Cocula Technology Corporation created the .jpg files used on my curling page, and allowed me to move Sarah-Land to his server when my employer was bought and the former site became unavailable.
- The body background you see here is Paper 1 Background with permission from Randy D. Ralph (rdralph@nr.infi.net)
- Some of the .gifs came from Christopher D. Sawran, cdsrc@rc.rit.edu, from the now-dead site http://penguin.rc.rit.edu/ImageLibrary/.
- Various other folks out on the web had freely available graphics I have been happy to use. Unfortunately, I didn't record those locations at the time.
- In 1996 I was a volunteer at the Washington Area Project for Youth, a computer
literacy and HTML training program for disadvantaged D.C. kids, ended. I enjoyed being
a youth mentor and occasional documentary shootist, and applied some of what I picked
up about web design to these pages.
